About the horse
Tortik came to us in 2013 as a youngster. After backing him we were preparing him for group programmes with elements of dressage, but the horse chose another path: within a couple of years he showed us how easily and happily he clears fences of any height, and we had no choice but to move him to group programmes with elements of show jumping.
Tornado gets lazy when things become too easy for him, but his pleasant gaits and unhurried stride give any rider a good chance to settle into the saddle and find balance, and his soft jump is just the thing for your first fences.
